Three arrested in Peterborough class A drugs probe

Three people have been arrested in Peterborough in suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs.

Officers from the northern Community Action Team (CAT) attended the New England and Paston areas of Peterborough this morning (11 June) in relation to an ongoing drugs investigation.

Officers were seen in Tennyson Road today.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said; “Three people - a 25-year-old man, a 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, all from Peterborough - were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

They remain in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station and investigations are ongoing.”
