Teens charged with firearms and drugs offences in Peterborough appear in court

Two teenagers arrested in Peterborough on suspicion of firearms and drugs offences have appeared in court.

The arrests reportedly took place in the Orton Goldhay area.

An 18-year-old man of no fixed abode was charged with possession of a firearm, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

A 16-year-old boy from Winyates in Peterborough was also charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Both appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday where a trial date in May was set for the 18-year-old.

The 16-year-old’s case was referred to a youth court where he is due to be sentenced in June.
