Teen arrested after entering Peterborough McDonald's 'brandishing a knife'

A teenager was arrested after entering McDonald's in Queensgate while allegedly brandishing an eight inch kitchen knife.

Officers arrested the 17-year-old yesterday evening (Sunday).

He was arrested away from the restaurant a short time after the alarm had been raised.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said: "Thankfully, the situation was resolved and nobody was hurt.
