Officers visited a home in the city last week, and uncovered an ‘Aladdin's cave’ of items, including chocolate and clothes.

Cambridgeshire Police said three people were under investigation.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Last week, neighbourhood officers visited a house in Eastfield Grove following information about the storing of suspected stolen goods.

“Inside, they uncovered around £9,275 worth of goods, including:

Chocolate

Toiletries

Cleaning products

Laundry products

Clothing

Electronics

“Three people were interviewed at the scene and remain under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.

“This is all part of our work to tackle retail crime, including shoplifting and the sale of suspected stolen goods.”
