Seven men to appear in court for fishing offences

The men were all reported after being stopped in three different locations just outside Peterborough over the weekend.
One man was reported for fishing out of season at the Old Nene in March and two were reported for fishing with no rod licences and out of season at Sixteen Foot Bank near March, police said.

Hide AdAnother person was reported at the same location for fishing out of season, while three more were reported for fishing out of season, having no rod licences and theft of fishing rights at the Old Nene in Ramsey St Mary’s.
One of the three men was also reported for theft of fish.
A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “They have all been reported and will be summonsed to a magistrates court in due course.”
