Schoolboy stopped in Peterborough carrying large knife

The lad was stopped in Werrington yesterday carrying the large kitchen knife.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “E-Relief officers today have stopped a 14 year old in Werrington carrying this knife. ‍♂️

“If you know someone who carries a knife, even if you don’t think they will ever use it, please eliminate the risk completely and encourage them to dispose of it. ‼️

“We will not be complacent in our efforts to tackle knife crime. ❌”
