New figures have shown that more people in Cambridgeshire needed hospital treatment after knife attacks than last year.

Statistics have also been released showing the number of possession of weapon offences in each neighbourhood in Peterborough

The numbers, which are recorded as how many offences take place per 1,000 people, reveal that there are more than twice as many of these crimes in Peterborough than the England average.

The statistics, which are for the 12 months from June 2025 until May 2026, are from Police.uk
