Police have confirmed they have been searching a property in Peterborough for much of the day (September 6) as part of a drugs investigation.
Officers and forensics teams have been at a property in Palace Gardens, off Fletton Avenue, Fletton following the arrest of a man yesterday.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman told the Peterborough Telegraph: “Yesterday (Saturday, September 5) a 23-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
“As part of the investigation officers are searching a property in Palace Gardens.”
The spokesman said no more details were available at this stage.
