Police appeal after third burglary in village near Peterborough

A third burglary in the space of three days took place in a village near Peterborough.

The incident took place in Park Street, Kings Cliffe between 8.30pm and 8.50pm on Saturday, September 26, when the offender forced a downstairs window to gain access to the property. Once inside, items of jewellery were stolen. The offender left via a rear door.

This burglary is being linked to two further burglaries in Kings Cliffe, which took place in Bridge Street, between 7.30pm and 10.30pm on Saturday, September 26 and 3.30pm on Friday, September 25 and 12.50pm on Sunday, September 27.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Park Street or Bridge Street, between the stated times.
