Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward after the victim suffered a serious injury to his face.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire police said at around 2am on Sunday March 15 a group of five men entered Mama Liz’s bar in North Street, Stamford, with one of the group assaulting the victim. The suspects then left the scene.
