Police appeal after burglary at Peterborough home

The incident happened in Fletton Avenue at about 4.15pm on Tuesday last week (19 January).

A woman was spotted leaving the victim's house with a bag containing bottles of drink.

The victim confronted the woman and she handed over some of the stolen items, but after she left the victim noticed more items, including bottles of rum and gin, were missing from the house.

The woman is described as white, slim, about 5’ 3” and about 25-years-old, and was wearing a black coat, pink and white pyjama bottoms and carrying two bags for life.

Anyone with information, or who has CCTV which may cover the area, is asked to contact Cambridgeshire police on 101.
