Peterborough's Frank Perkins Parkway was closed this evening due to a police incident.

Police at 8.40pm said the road was closed in both directions.
However, the road reopened a short time afterwards.
A police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 8.24pm yesterday evening (Sunday, December 23) with reports of concern for a woman on a bridge over the Frank Perkins Parkway in Peterborough.
“The road was closed while officers brought the woman to safety. The road was reopened at about 8.45pm.”
