Peterborough woman charged with theft and possession of a weapon

A Peterborough woman has been charged with multiple thefts from Boots chemist and possessing a weapon in public.

Natalie Renton, 23, of no fixed address, was arrested yesterday afternoon (Thursday 30 July) in connection with thefts from the store in Queensgate earlier this month.

She has since been charged with four counts of theft of beauty products and possession of a weapon, namely a baton, in a public place.

She has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 31 July).
