Peterborough woman arrested on suspicion of GBH after city incident

A woman from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) without intent and criminal damage after an incident in the city.

Police were called to Park Crescent on Saturday morning, shortly before midday.

Three police vans and paramedics were spotted at the scene.

A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “The call came in at 11.43am on Saturday, May 2 to Park Crescent in Peterborough. Officers attended and a woman in her 50s from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) without intent and criminal damage.

“She has since been released on bail until June 1.
