Peterborough woman arrested on suspicion of endangering life after fire started at city home

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of endangering life after a fire was started at a property in Peterborough.

Emergency services were called at 12.27am yesterday (27 September) with reports of a fire at a property in Chadburn, Paston, Peterborough.

Police officers and fire crews attended the scene, where it was established the blaze had been started deliberately. The fire was extinguished and nobody was injured.

A 34-year-old woman from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of causing arson endangering life. She has since been released under investigation.
