A manhunt was launched and on April 28 information was received that Pervez was back at the Ledbury Road property.

Officers found him hiding in the loft and then seized heroin, cocaine, cannabis and a number of phones.

Analysis from an expert revealed the drugs had a street value of about £4,200.

Pervez, 19, was arrested and later admitted charges of possession of cannabis and two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

He was sentenced to three years and 11 months in prison at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday, June 25.

DC Sarah Morgan said: “I am pleased that a substantial amount of class A drugs have been taken off the streets of Peterborough as a result of this investigation.

“I hope the sentence highlights how seriously drug dealing is taken in Cambridgeshire. Drugs can have devastating effects on our communities and we will continue to do all we can to target dealers.”
