Peterborough police impose order to stop groups meeting in city
There is an increased police presence in Peterborough tonight after reports of large groups gathering.
Cambridgeshire police have put the dispersal order in place in Woodston.
A spokesman said; “You may have seen a large police presence in the Woodston area of Peterborough this evening. There is now a police dispersal authority in place until 0900 hours on Saturday the 23rd May 2020 due to large groups congregating within the area.”
The order gives officers the power to move people on from the area.
