Peterborough murder: Third man arrested released on bail

The third man, aged 18 from Peterborough, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday (January 7) but has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on February 3.

Tyler Smith, 23, of Sandpiper Drive, Peterborough, and Kristopher White, 35, of Myrtle House Caravan Park, have been charged with the murder of of 30-year-old Nicky Bonner, of Park Road, Peterborough, who died in Southfields Drive on Tuesday afternoon (January 5).

The pair appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court virtually on Friday (January 8) and have been remanded to appear at Cambridge Crown Court virtually today (January 11).

A post mortem examination carried out at Peterborough City Hospital last week concluded that Mr Bonner died as a result of a stab wound.
