Peterborough motorist helped police arrest suspected drink driver

A Peterborough resident helped police arrest a suspected drink driver - just five minutes before another man was stopped on suspicion of drink driving.

Just before 11pm on Saturday (26 September) police received a call from a member of the public who was following a vehicle which was driving erratically in the Hampton area of Peterborough.

Officers attended the scene and stopped the vehicle near Serpentine Green Shopping Centre. David Kroscen, 41, of Rudd Close, Peterborough, was arrested and later charged with drink driving.

Less than five minutes later another crew stopped a driver in Henry Street, Peterborough. Bogdan Wisniewski, 46, of Miral Court in Peterborough was also arrested and later charged with drink driving.

Both have been released on bail to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 16 November.
