Peterborough man who robbed party-goer jailed for eight years
Police appealing to find second man who remains unidentified following terrifying robbery
A man who robbed a party goer in Millfield last year has been jailed for more than eight years.
John Hunt was jailed today after being found guilty of the terrifying attack.
But police are still trying to find his accomplice – and have launched a new appeal for information.

Cambridge Crown Court heard that at around 5.30am on 30 September last year, response officers were deployed to Century Square, Millfield, after reports of a robbery. They found the victim, a man in his 40s, outside a block of flats who told officers two men had ambushed him on his way home from a party.
They punched him in the face and the head and stole his watch, mobile phone, bank card, insurance card, and some cigarettes whilst holding something sharp to his throat.
Hunt, 33, was identified by officers as one of the suspects after reviewing CCTV footage of the incident, resulting in his arrest on 3 October by the Acquisitive Crime Team (ACT).
Hunt, of Westerley Close, Westwood, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court today (24 May) where he was sentenced to eight years and nine weeks after previously being found guilty of robbery.
DC Guiste, who investigated, said: “Robberies can be extremely frightening for victims and I would like to commend the victim for his bravery and cooperation with the investigation.
“Through joint working at an early stage from the initial attending officers to those who made the identifications from CCTV, we were able to swiftly arrest Hunt and put him before the courts.
“The second man remains unidentified, therefore I would like to appeal to the public to get in touch if they have any information as to who he is.”
Anyone with information can report to police online or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
