Peterborough man to be interviewed by the RSPCA after three dogs die in a car

A man living in Peterborough is to be interviewed by the RSPCA after three dogs died in a car in Hampton yesterday (Thursday, June 16).

The 65-year-old is due to be interviewed by the RSPCA today.

A spokeswoman for the charity said: “A 65-year-old man from Peterborough is attending a police station this lunchtime to be interviewed by the RSPCA after three dogs died in a hot car yesterday afternoon (Thursday, June 16).

“No further information is available at this time as this is an on-going investigation.”

Cambridgeshire police said it is aware of the incident and working alongside the RSPCA.
