Peterborough man to appear in court charged with possession of a knife in public

A man who was arrested in Peterborough on Saturday morning (13 June) is due in court today for knife offences.

Lukasz Ludziak, 34, of no fixed address, was arrested in Eastfield at about 10.45am on suspicion of a number of offences including possession of a knife and a class A drug.

Yesterday (Sunday 14 June), he was charged with possession of a class A drug, criminal damage to a garage door, threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a non-serrated stanley knife and a carving fork, and possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 15 June).
