Peterborough man due in court charged with thefts

A Peterborough man is due in court today (Wednesday) charged with thefts in the city.

Robert McColl, 28, was arrested at Tesco in Serpentine Green, Hampton, on Monday afternoon (5 April).

He has since been charged with theft of razor blades worth £101 from Tesco Extra, as well as theft of a bicycle from outside Asda in Rivergate on 31 March.

McColl, of New Road in Peterborough, has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today.
