Peterborough man charged with theft of lights
A man has been charged with theft and attempted theft after £50 worth of lights were stolen from a Peterborough shop.
Whahab Khogianiwal, 24, was arrested yesterday afternoon (18 August) in connection with an incident at B&Q in Maskew Avenue earlier in the day.
Khogianiwal, of no fixed address, has since been charged with the theft from B&Q as well as attempted theft of alcohol from Tesco Extra in Serpentine Green, Hampton, on 10 June.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (19 August).
