Peterborough man charged with theft from supermarket
A man from Peterborough has been charged with theft and threatening behaviour in relation to incidents at Tesco in Welland Road and McColl’s in Gunthorpe Road.
James Maguire, of Holmes Way, Paston, was arrested yesterday (2 July) at his home address and has since been charged with four counts of theft of items including food and alcohol. He also been charged with threatening behaviour.
He has been released on bail, with restrictions not to enter the mentioned shops, and will appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 13 August.
