Peterborough man charged with stealing a Mercedes and computers in burglaries

A Peterborough man has been charged with burglary after high value electronics and a Mercedes was stolen in Peterborough.

Dillon Currie (28) was arrested on Wednesday night (19 August) in connection with four burglaries between 24 and 28 July. Laptops, iPhones, iPads, computer equipment and a Mercedes car were among the items taken.

Currie, of Rudd Close, Fengate, has since been charged with three counts of burglary including theft, burglary with intent to steal, handling stolen goods and driving without a licence or insurance.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (21 August).
