Peterborough man charged with kidnapping woman, firearm offence and dangerous driving
A man is due to appear in court today charged with a string of offences following a 14 hour armed police operation in Peterborough this week

Kashon Browne, 22, was arrested in Earls Close, Fletton, on Monday afternoon (21 December) following reports of a kidnap and firearms offences. He has since been charged with kidnap of a woman, assault, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, handling stolen goods, dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, failing to report a collision to police, driving without insurance and driving without a licence. Browne, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today.
