Peterborough man charged with drink driving over allegations he was more than four times the legal limit
An alleged drink driver has been charged with getting behind the wheel while more than four times over the limit.
Brandon Campbell, 28, of New Road, Woodston, Peterborough is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday) to face a charge of drink driving and assaulting a police officer.
Yesterday Cambridgeshire police said they had been called to an incident in Dogsthorpe on Monday night following reports of erratic driving. Is is alleged Campbell gave a breathalyser reading of 148ugs in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35ugs.
