Peterborough man charged with burgling Boots in Queensgate

A man from Peterborough has been charged with burgling Boots chemist in Queensgate and is due to appear in court today (Tuesday).

William Fletcher, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested by the Neighbourhood Support Team in Bridge Street at about 3.30am yesterday morning (Monday).

He has since been charged with burgling Boots chemist, as well as theft of goods worth more than £1,000.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today.
