Peterborough man charged with attempting to kidnap a woman
A man will appear in court charged with attempting to kidnap a woman in Peterborough
Edgaras Zukauskas, 28, of Bodesway in Orton Malborne, was arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday 24 August) in New Road.
He has since been charged with two counts of possessing a knife in a public place, attempted kidnap of a woman, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, theft of a mobile phone, and two counts of assault by beating.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today.
