Peterborough man bailed in attempted murder probe

A man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed.

The man was arrested on Sunday in Orton Goldhay connection with an incident in Wake Road on Friday evening.

He has now been bailed until July 13

He was the fifth man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man suffered serious arm injuries in the incident.

A warrant was subsequently carried out at a property in Sugar Way on Saturday (13 June).

Four men, from Peterborough, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and drug offences. They have since been bailed to return to a police station on 12 July.
