A man arrested on suspicion of attempting to abduct young children in Peterborough has been released under investigation by police.
The 30-year-old from Peterborough was arrested on Monday afternoon on suspicion of two counts of attempted abduction of a child.
On Saturday (24 October) police appealed for information following reports of two separate suspicious incidents in Eye whereby a man was reported to have asked a five-year-old boy to go with him in his van outside Boots chemist in the high street.
The other incident is reported to have happened at about 9.30am the same morning (Thursday) where a man got out of a van and approached a three-year-old girl in Eyebury Road.
