Peterborough man arrested following police raid

A man has been arrested following a police raid in Stanground this morning.

Officers were seen outside the Carpenters Arms Pub in South Street, and in Chapel Street in Stanground.

A police spokesman said: “A 25-year-old man from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of assault and coercive and controlling behaviour. He is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.”
