Officer ‘bitten by drunk man’ at Peterborough Station

The 31-year-old was arrested on Sunday at the station for allegedly being drunk and disorderly.
He then proceeded to bite an officer on the arm, it is alleged.

Hide AdA spokesman for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police were called to Peterborough railway station at 12.47pm on Sunday, January 3 following reports of a drunk and disorderly man.
“Officers attended and a man was subsequently arrested.”
The man from Stockton-on-Tees has since been charged with being drunk and disorderly and assault of an emergency worker.
He has been released on bail until his next court appearance.
