Motorist ‘four times drink drive limit’ arrested as police urge people to #StayAtHome

A motorist reported to be four times the drink-drive limit was arrested yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

The driver was arrested in High Road, Wisbech St Mary, on suspicion of drink-driving after police said they provided a roadside reading of 141 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Another driver was arrested in Lynn Road, Wisbech, in the early hours of this morning.

Police said he was disqualified, had no insurance and was double the drink-drive limit.

A spokesperson said: “People are still not taking the advice of #StayAtHome.”
