More than a dozen drink drivers arrested in Cambridgeshire over the weekend - including three in Peterborough

The number is less than half of that reported the previous weekend - but across the county as a whole, the number rose.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: "This time last week we told you there'd been 12 arrests for drink driving across the county over that weekend, seven of which were in Peterborough.

"Well since then we've arrested another 14 people for drink driving offences, albeit only three of these were in Peterborough this time - still three too many!"

Of the 14 arrests, 10 have been charged, two were released without charge after their readings dropped below the legal level once in custody, one has been released under investigation and one is still in custody.
