Men bailed after Peterborough arson arrests

Two men arrested on suspicion of arson after a blaze at a Peterborough house have been bailed by police.

The men were arrested following the fire at Cherry Tree Grove, Dogsthorpe at 3am yesterday (Monday).

A woman and two young children were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The men were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station for questioning.

Today, a police spokesman confirmed they had been released on bail until October 8.
