Members of the public are being asked to report sightings of the man to police following knife-point in Peterborough on Wednesday evening (8 July).

The 31-year-old victim was working in Khan Food Store in Taverners Road at about 6pm when a man entered the store brandishing a knife and made demands for money from the till.

The victim managed to run out of the store, activating the shutters as he left, however the offender also managed to run out of the store before being locked in.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with in connection with the incident.
