Man stabbed ‘multiple times’ in Peterborough street outside primary school

A man has been stabbed in a Peterborough street.

Police and ambulance services are currently at the scene in Dogshorpe Road after a man received ‘multiple stab wounds’ at about 2.10pm today.

The road has been closed near All Saints Primary School, and a police cordon put in place at a pedestrian crossing.

A white Vauxhall Astra, with front windows smashed, is parked inside the cordon.

The Magpas air ambulance attended the scene, and armed police were also called to the incident.

There is currently no information on the condition of the injured man,, believed to be in his 20s, who is receiving treatment from paramedics.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.
