Man due in court after cannabis factory worth £130,000 found in Peterborough home

A man will appear in court today after a cannabis factory worth £130,000 was found in Peterborough.

The Neighbourhood Support Team found the grow of 155 plants at a house in Francis Gardens, Dogsthorpe, on Tuesday evening (16 March).

Ramazan Dervishi, 22, of Lessington Avenue in Romford, Essex, was arrested and has since been charged with producing cannabis and abstracting electricity. A 24-year-old man was also arrested but has since been released with no further action being taken against him.

Dervishi has been remanded to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today.
