A man has been charged with robbing a bookies in Market Deeping.

John Appleyard, of Wellington Way, Market Deeping, was charged with one count of robbery following the incident at the S&D Bookmakers at the Deeping Centre in Godsey Lane on Wednesday.

He was due to appear from police custody at Lincoln District Magistrate’s Court on Friday (27th August).
