Warren Talbot, 38, and of Northumberland Avenue, Stamford, will appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday 19 February 2021 charged with the incident that happened on July 31 at the Helpston crossing.

The incident caused thousands of pounds of damage to the crossing, and there were hours of delays caused on train services after a car drove through the barriers.

Talbot is charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, criminal damage, drink driving and obstruction of the railway.
