Man charged over attempted burglary in Peterborough

A Peterborough man has been charged with attempted burglary following an incident at the weekend.

Robert Hooker, 52 was arrested in Peterborough city centre on Monday.

He has since been charged with attempting to burgle a home in Eye Road, Dogsthorpe, with intent to steal on Saturday (6 November).

Hooker, of Scalford Drive in Welland, was due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
