Man arrested on suspicion of drug driving after suspected stolen Audi crashes near Peterborough

Two men have been arrested after a suspected stolen Audi crashed near Peterborough.

At about 11.15pm yesterday (12 May) Cambridgeshire Police officers were involved in a pursuit with an Audi near Eye.

A police spokeswoman said: “The driver of the Audi failed to stop and was involved in a collision in Crowland Road.”

A 31-year-old man from March was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, failing to stop, drug driving and possession of a class B or C drug.

A 23-year-old man from Wisbech was also arrested on suspicion of failing to stop.

They both remain in police custody..
