Man arrested after spate of Peterborough burglaries

A man has been arrested after a spate of burglaries in Peterborough.

The 30-year-old was arrested in Welland at around 8pm on Saturday on suspicion of burglary.

He has since been bailed to appear at Thorpe Wood Police Station on March 27.

Police said the arrest followed “a recent spate of dwelling burglaries in the Peterborough area”.
