Man arrested after cannabis factory discovered in Peterborough home

A man was arrested after a cannabis factory was discovered at a home in Peterborough.

A warrant was carried out by the police Neighbourhood Support Team in Barnstock, Bretton, at about 3.30pm on Tuesday.

A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “A cannabis factory was found inside, with 59 cannabis plants growing.

“A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
