Jewellery, cash and figurines stolen in Whittlesey burglary

Jewellery, cash and figurines were stolen from a home in Whittlesey.

Police were called at 1.45pm on Monday with reports of a burglary in Stonald Road.

It is believed someone entered the home between 12.20pm and the time of the incident being reported and ransacked the house.

A police spokeswoman said: “A number of items are reported to have been taken, including two Doulton figurines, money tins including about £300 in cash and a number of items of jewellery.”
