Karl Hutchings, 48, bludgeoned 54-year-old Julie Buckley to death in the living room of his home in the village of Christchurch, near March in January 2025.
In July, Hutchings, of The Hill, Christchurch, Wisbech, was given a life sentence – to serve a minimum of 21 years – after he pleaded guilty to her murder.
Also in July, Ashley McMillan, 32, of Oundle Road, Peterborough, was jailed for six years after he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of John McGarry, 63, in Peterborough city centre.
Police said Mr McGarry had stepped in to help when he saw another person being assaulted by McMillan. Police said McMillan punched Mr McGarry – and sadly, he died of his injuries.
These are not all the people jailed in July – just those police have released a picture of.
