Investigation after ‘fight near Peterborough centre’

Police are investigating after a fight was reported to have kicked off by a centre in Peterborough.

Cambridgeshire police were called at 9.37pm on Saturday to reports of a group of people fighting in Paynels, Orton Goldhay.

The Peterborough Telegraph understands the fight was in the vicinity of the Goldhay Centre.

A police spokeswoman said: “When officers arrived some of those involved had left the scene. A crime has been raised and an investigation is ongoing.”
