This week’s roundup of the BCH Road Policing Unit activity in Peterborough and across the region features a variety of incidents tackled by officers.

These included a stolen motorbike recovered from a stolen van in Peterborough, vehicles seized from uninsured drivers, a shockingly overcrowded car and many other offences.

This is a selection of the vehicles that were pulled over and the incidents officers attended.

Officers were called to this collision in Cambridgeshire. They said: "We were called to reports that a vehicle had collided with a lorry and then gone off road. Thankful no injuries but the driver did provide a positive breath sample. Driver arrested, enquiries ongoing."

Officers issued a warning about passenger numbers in cars after stopping this vehicle elsewhere in the region. They said: " Out of the corner of my eye I spied this. Grand total of 7 passengers. The two 4 year old girls on laps of slightly older children. But he said he was safe as he was no faster than 30mph! Tell that to the courts! Ticket issued and taxi arranged."
